About Strada
For many of us, freedom of movement has become something we treat like an accessory.
We go anywhere, anytime.
We document it without thinking: holiday carousels, wing shots from planes, feet-in-sand proofs of life.
Movement becomes lifestyle.
A weekend plan.
A training goal.
A story post.
But what about those who run without a finish line?
Those who move because staying is impossible.
Those who travel not for leisure, but for safety.
Not for escape, but for survival.
Not to find themselves, but to keep themselves alive.
That is the distance this project begins with.
Be a Robin
Be A Robin is committed to supporting displaced people in Switzerland, but also beyond state borders. We create spaces for time outs and encounters to bring moments of joy and lightness into often difficult everyday life. Through creative projects, sports and leisure activities, but also through educational offers and community events such as evening meals, we enable places for exchange. Be A Robin is a non-profit organisation based on volunteer work that provides unbureaucratic support to displaced people in their current situation. Together, we are creating a more inclusive and socially just present in which diversity is seen as a strength.
